Not everything has to have a propeller up front! This section shows some of my builds from other genres. I would still like to expand my portfolio with even more varieties of kits and breaking out of one's comfort zone is an exciting way to learn new techniques.

Bandai 1/48 AT-ST Depicting a scene from Return Of The Jedi

Hasegawa 1/72 Shinkai 6500


This is a JAMSTEC (Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology) manned research vessel for deep water exploration shown having located a sunken relic from WWII - a Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero! A light-box was constructed to enclose the display and create a surface water ripple effect.

FineMolds 1/72 Incom T-65 X-Wing
For the cockpit, selected parts from a resin set were used along the kit parts as well as some additional scratch-built detailing. All the markings were painted.
I made a decorative base to show Red 2 in flight above the Death Star.

Tamiya 1/48 US Fuel Truck
Built Out-Of-Box although I did paint the stars on the doors, bonnet and cab roof in place of the decals.

UniModel 1/48 AS-2 Starter Truck
This model was enhanced by replacing most of the gantry's kit parts with aluminium tubing.

Tamiya 1/35 SAS Pink Panther
Built Out-Of-Box, although I enhanced the headlights with clear lenses and imitation bulbs.

Airfix 1/76 Cromwell IV
For this kit, I scratch-built the turret wading tower from brass sheet, replaced the machine guns with drilled-out aluminium tubing and recreated the light guards from styrene rod.
