1/72 Aircraft
This is by far, the most popular scale in model making. Most builders probably cut their teeth on a polybagged 1/72 Spitfire with their pocket money one Saturday morning in Woolworths. However, even though diminutive compared to their 1/48 and 1/32 cousins, this scale has not escaped the attentions of the aftermarket companies and a whole host of resin and photoetch goodies can be found that will greatly enhance their detail level.
